Mike brings over a decade of experience in fitness coaching, health education, and client-centered leadership. His training style blends science-backed technique with humor, encouragement, and a whole lot of heart.
Mike is especially passionate about helping women 50+ reconnect with their bodies, build strength safely, and feel confident as they age. With a background in group fitness, one-on-one coaching, and wellness consulting, Mike knows how to meet each client where they are — whether they’re just starting out, coming back from a break, or looking to feel strong for the first time in years.
He believes that fitness should feel empowering, not overwhelming — and that movement can be joyful, effective, and sustainable all at once. Known for his patient coaching style and ability to simplify complex movements, Mike creates a supportive training environment where clients feel seen, respected, and genuinely excited to show up.
It’s the best of both worlds. You train in a small group (usually 4–6 people), but your workout is tailored just for you. You’ll have your own customized program, and a coach guiding you every step of the way. You get the energy of a group, the attention of a personal trainer, and zero awkward high-fives. Unless you’re into that.
Yes. It’s small group personal training. Meaning: you get your own program, but you’re not alone. Your coach is focused on you (and only a few others), and your workouts are built for your body and your goals. It’s personal attention — just not one-on-one pricing.
Heck yes. In fact, that’s kind of our thing. Strength, balance, energy, confidence — we focus on functional fitness that makes real life feel easier. Picking up grandkids, hauling groceries, hiking hills — all the stuff you want to do, without groaning about it later.
Yes — and we’ve got you. Our coaches specialize in modifying workouts for injury recovery, post-physical therapy, joint pain, and that shoulder that “just does that sometimes.” Every workout is customized, and we’ll never push you to do something your body’s not ready for. Safe progress is the name of the game.
All the fun stuff — and probably at least one piece you’ve never tried before. Think cables, tanks, TRX, slam balls, kettlebells, and a few “toys” you’ll learn to love (or love to hate — we see you, Murder Bike). But don’t worry, you’ll never be left alone to figure it out. Every workout is guided by a coach who shows you what to do, how to do it, and how not to break yourself in the process.
